The 2nd Annual Cowboy Prom Gala was a night of celebration, generosity, and community spirit as nearly 220 attendees came together on February 22, 2025, at Live! Casino Pittsburgh in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to support the Making Strides Foundation. From live entertainment to unique vendor experiences, the evening was filled with excitement—all in support of our mission to provide therapy and adaptive riding programs for children and young adults with disabilities.

An Evening of Fun & Fundraising

Guests arrived dressed in their best western-inspired attire, ready to enjoy an unforgettable night. The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception, followed by a delicious buffet dinner, lively entertainment, and an exciting silent auction.

We were honored to have Lora Kay of WHJB as our emcee, keeping the energy high throughout the night, while Pratt & Szallar and DJ Dave of WHJB provided fantastic live music and entertainment that had guests dancing the night away.

We’re also thrilled to announce that Cat Samsa is the recipient of our 2025 Outstanding Service Award, which she was honored with at during the event. Her unwavering dedication to her profession and her volunteer work with our students exemplifies the heart of the Making Strides mission.

Special Experiences & Community Support

Adding to the excitement, guests had the opportunity to create custom hats at Creations by Maddy's Hat Bar and design unique semi-permanent jewelry with Link + Bonded—with a portion of the sales supporting our programs. The Oh Snap PGH photo booth captured fun memories throughout the evening, giving attendees a keepsake from the special night.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors and donors, whose contributions directly impact the children and young adults we serve. Their support ensures that we can continue providing inclusive and adaptive equine-assisted services, creating life-changing opportunities for our participants and their families.
