Fee Schedule
Making Strides offers a variety of services year round. Our occupational and speech therapy programs operate as 10-week semesters in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. We do not offer licensed therapy during the winter semester. Adaptive Riding Lessons and group programs are offered during the spring, summer, fall and winter months.
Screening Fee
At Making Strides Foundation, we require a 30-minute screening for all new clients in our therapy or adaptive riding programs. The screening fee is $40.00. This screening acts as a meet-and-greet where we can get to know our clients, introduce them to the horses and staff, and get comfortable with each other without the pressure of riding. This screening is unmounted, meaning not a riding session. This time also allows us to ensure that we can accommodate each client’s needs and plan appropriately for their riding sessions moving forward.
Adaptive Riding Lessons
Our adaptive riding lessons are $55.00 per 45-minute session. These lessons are typically mounted; however, we can adapt them as needed (i.e. unmounted sessions in extreme heat, etc). These lessons are NOT reimbursable by insurance as they are recreational riding lessons.
OT/SLP Sessions
Our licensed therapy sessions utilizing equine movement (hippotherapy) are $100.00 per 45-minute session. We are not in network with insurance at this time, so therapy is fee-for-service and may be paid per visit. Our therapy services are HSA and FSA eligible.
Your child may be eligible for financial assistance. Learn more on our Community Resources page.
